You'll work directly with clients, ensuring their shops are equipped with safe and fully operational machinery. This role is perfect for someone with mechanical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.&nbsp;Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li> Install automotive equipment such as lifts, compressors, and repair tools.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform maintenance and service tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. </li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct on-site assessments to determine installation and repair needs.&nbsp;</li><li>Work independently on service calls and installations while maintaining professional communication with customers.&nbsp;</li><li>Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance recommendations. </li><li>Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage tools, equipment, and inventory needed for daily service operations.</li></ul>Qualifications:&nbsp;<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certifications are a plus).&nbsp;</li><li>Proven experience installing and servicing automotive equipment, including lifts and compressors.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working in automotive shop environments.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.&nbsp;</li><li>Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs) and work in various conditions, including tight spaces and outdoor environments.&nbsp;</li></ul> Why Join Chesapeake Automotive Equipment?&nbsp;<ul><li>Full Time Position&nbsp;</li><li>Competitive pay at $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Company-provided service vehicle for work-related travel.&nbsp;</li><li>401(k) with profit-sharing benefits.&nbsp;</li><li>Paid time off&nbsp;</li><li>Professional development and training opportunities to help you grow in your career. </li><li>A supportive, team-oriented environment where your skills are valued.</li></ul>
